THE BASIC RULES
Don't Get Angry! basically features the original gameplay of the board game well-known as Ludo (UK) or Parcheesi (USA):

The players will in turn throw a dice. Whoever gets a "six" will start by moving one of his figures from his team's base to his start position on the playboard. Each time you throw a six you HAVE TO place one of your home figures on the playboard, even if you could make another interesting draw. However, this traditional rule can be loosed in the game options, if you like to. After throwing a six, the player may throw again and walk the regarding amount of fields, using one of his figures on the playboard. A team's start position on the board must always be cleared as soon as possible. If there is no own figure on the start position, the player may walk with any of his figures on the playboard instead. If any of the players throws a six, he may principally throw again.

If one of your figures reaches a field that has been occupied by an opponent figure, the enemy figure is kicked out of the game and will be put back to its team's home position to start again. You cannot kick your own figures out of the game, if the target field is occupied by one of your own figures, you cannot move. If two ore more of your figures are on the playboard, you may choose a figure to move with. However, you can only move with one of your figures per dice throw.

If all of your figures are still in your home base, you may dice up to three times in a row to achieve a six.

   GAME MODES
Additionally to the classic gameplay, Don't Get Angry! 3 contains brand-new, varying game modes which affect the game flow and, first of all, the goal of the game: the Classic mode, a Deathmatch- and a Carry-the-Flag mode:

Classic Game
The goal of the classic game is to move all figures on the team's target fields. The player who manages to position all of his figures on the target fields at first, wins the match.

Deathmatch
In a Deathmatch, all figures are already placed on the board at game start. The goal of this game mode is to keep his figures as long in the game as possible. If a figure has been kicked out of the game, it will not respawn for the rest of the match. The player that manages to keep at least one figure in the game whilst all the opponent figures are out of the game, wins.

Carry The Flag
In this variant, a team flag is placed on each team's start position. If one of the player's figures moves onto the field containing the team flag, the figure will carry that flag until it is kicked out of the game again. The goal is to carry the flag around the board for one complete round. If the flag-carrying figure is kicked out of the game, the flag will be moved back to the team's start position.

   ACTION CARDS
What really makes Don't Get Angry! interesting, compared to the classic board game, is the ability to collect diverse action cards and special items during the game. Those items and cards may be useful or harmful to the player. Some of these items and cards can be used against opponents, giving the game flow a surprising twist.

There are mysterious crates placed on some fields. These crates contain action cards that can be collected by moving a figure onto that field. Some action cards must be used immediately, others may be stored and used at a later time (instead of throwing the dice).

Crates are thrown from a plane onto a random field every few rounds. The frequency of this supplies can be adjusted in the game options menu. There are as many 'good' items and cards as 'bad' ones, so the player never knows if it is a good idea to head for a crate field, or better to avoid it.

   SPECIAL ITEMS
Some fields contain several items at game start (coil springs, sleeping pills or others, for example). These items may also be added during the gameplay. If one of the players moves onto a field that contains such an item, it will be activated. These items, like the action cards, can be helpful or harmful to the player. Before moving a figure, each player should ponder if it may be useful to head for such an item or not.

   CHARACTER HEALTH
To make the gameplay more non-linear, each figure has a limited health energy. If a figure lands on a sneakily placed bomb or will be attacked by an opponent figure, for example, it will lose an appropriate amount of energy. If all energy has gone, the figure 'dies', will be kicked out of the game and respawns at the player's home base again.

You may also taunt your opponents during the game. Taunting an enemy will also decrease the health energy of his figures. On the other hand, a player may increase a figure's health by collecting iced soft drinks. Additonally, figures also lose a bit of energy, if any other figure jumps over them (rudeness must be punished). Therefore, the player should avoid jumping over his own figures, but aim for already weak opponent figures instead, to kick them out of the game.

   PLAYER DUELS
In the classic board game, an opponent figure will be kicked out of the game if you reach the same field. To make it even more suspensing, in Don't Get Angry! 3 players may duel each other in such a situation. If the attacker wins such a mach, the opponent's figure will be kicked out of the game. If the defender wins the match, the attacking figure must stay on its field and the opponent's figure may stay in the game.

These duels are shown as several mini games (rock-paper-scissors, spot-the-card or a quiz demanding a good portion of general knowledge, for example).

   DICE VARIANTS
Some players count on luck. Others prefer skills. Therefore, Don't Get Angry! 3 provides three different dice variants. Depending on the chosen variant, the player may need a bit of luck, skill, or both.

Random Dice
To use the random dice, simply click on it. The result is, as in real life, a good example for luck and karma.

Skill Dice
Using this dice variant, the player may affect the result by his skills. You can determine the direction in which the dice turns and the amount of rotations. If the player is concentrated and responsive enough, chances are good to achieve what he wants. The level of difficulty can be adjusted in the games option menu.

Wheel of Fortune
The wheel of fortune provides an original variation to the classic dice variant. The wheel of fortune requires both, luck and skills. Numbers are placed randomly on the wheel. The player turns the wheel and tries to stop it right in time.

   SUMMARY
Don't Get Angry! 3 provides a balanced mix from strategy, luck and skill. Special effort has been spent to provide the player as much interactive situations as possible. Therefore, the game flow does not only depend on a player's luck, but first of all on his skills and strategic gameplay. The player may alter many situations, giving the gameplay a complete and unexpected twist.
